FRED doesn't try to do everything alone. The youth entrepreneurship challenge is too large for any single organisation, so we operate as one deliberate part of a collaborative network. Our role is the front of the journey - mindset, confidence and idea generation - and we partner with others for reach into young people across communities and institutions.

RLabs

RLabs is an award-winning South African non-profit, that operates in 25 countries across 5 continents, working from a foundation of inclusion and compassion with a goal of positively impacting 2 billion people by 2030. FRED partners with RLabs' D-Labs, a well-equipped community hub in Mitchell's Plain, for access to unemployed youth. It's through this partnership that FRED has reached 50+ unemployed youth via Mitchell's Plain to date.

Edunova

Edunova is a South African educational organisation working to be a catalyst for positive change in schools, supporting teachers and learners, integrating technology into the classroom, and building sustainable leadership within school communities. FRED partners with Edunova for its established relationships with digitally-ready schools across South Africa.

LEAP Science & Maths School

LEAP Science & Maths Schools is a network of low-fee schools across South Africa serving participants from high-need communities, with a focus on maths, physical science and English. LEAP 1 in Langa township is a top-performing school for underserved youth from the area. FRED has delivered its high school programme at LEAP School in Langa, forming part of FRED's South African delivery footprint.

Atlantis Special Economic Zone

The Atlantis Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) is a greentech manufacturing hub, the only zone of its kind in Africa, supporting green-technology manufacturers with access to renewable energy, skilled labour and world-class infrastructure to drive sustainable job creation. FRED partners with Atlantis SEZ as a base for pre-incubation and early-stage entrepreneurs, and has reached 22 early-stage entrepreneurs there to date.
